Understanding this page and the listing of honors

Accomplishments are listed in order by the highest level of USA Championship Meets that team members attain.

Keep in mind that USA swimming's highest level is the Olympics and then the Olympic Trials.

The meet and qualification honor levels in order of challenge and significance in USA swimming competition are listed as follows:

    • Olympic Games
    • Olympic Trials
    • USA Nationals
    • USA Junior Nationals
    • USA Zone Sectionals ( considered the first level of National Level competition)
    • USA Zones AAAA time standard required ( Ohio competes in 14 and under only at USA zones)
    • USA Ohio Junior Olympics, aka States, AA's
Additionally, swimmers in age group swimming up to the age of 18 can receive Top 16 designations, which ranks them Nationally in their age group. Click this link to learn more about the Top 16 Program

COSA All Stars are chosen from among swimmers who attain multiple championship goals in age group and Senior level swimming.

For our High School age swimmers, a very important part of their swimming careers are the State High School competitions. These will be listed separately (coming soon) from the USA team accomplishments. In High School swimming, any times achieved in District or State level competition, do count as USA swimming reportable times and these are the only times swam during a High School season that do count for USA swimming. Swimmers are limited to two individual events and two relays in State High School swimming competition.

As you progress in your swimming careers,  set your goals to higher and higher levels!

We are very fortunate to compete and train with one of the most honored and accomplished teams in Central Ohio!

Congratulations to all swimmers and coaches!
